I like Wen but day 2 hair looks clean but FLAT. I would love to get 2 days out of my hair before having to wash again. My hair is long, brown, and colored. Seems dry too. Thanks.

I have thin/fine hair and the Wen 613 mousse has been a game changer for me. I'm never going to have voluminous hair but the mousse does provide sustained gentle overall body even on the following days. On the second day you can also reapply the mousse to your dry hair. I was surprised to find that the mousse did not dry out my hair. I recommend the 613 mousse because that is the only one that also has additional shine technology.

Wen also has a Volumizing hair product that a number of people use, but I've never tried it.

Suggestions to decrease hair dryness using Wen products...

* Using a 16 oz. bottle of Cleansing Conditioner (CC), apply between a 1/2 pump and a pump of CC to just washed, dripping wet hair (from the middle of your hair to the ends) -- this will add some moisture back into your hair. Immediately follow with between a 12 pump to a pump of Styling Gel (from the middle of your hair to the ends) -- this will help seal the moisture in. Then, just using the product that's on your hands, gently rake your fingers through the rest of your hair that's nearer the scalp. Gently blot your hair/scalp to get the excess water off (don't rough up your hair cuticles) and dry as you would normally.

* Overnight Wen oil scalp treatments and overnight Wen remoist treatments for your hair will help bring back moisture to your hair.

* A lot of people like the FIG CC because they find it adds the most moisture to your hair.

In the top right hand corner of this page just under "Wen" there is a search box. You can type in key words to pull up older threads from the Wen Forum.

Best of luck!!

Some things you can try are the replenishing mist or the mousse as suggested. That may help tremendously.

If I use a lifting product and hot rollers on Day One, I still have pretty good lift on Day Two. When I don't use the hot rollers, I use a little dry shampoo or Big Sexy Hair Powder Play.

My hair is wavy and it's always flatter on day 2, I just go with it.

I have short fine hair and my looks decent the first day and flat the second day to, I use the 613 mousse and Lavender Volumnizing Treatment Spray to but still goes flat the second day. The only way my hair stays looking good for days is to keep it very very short then my cowlick really shows in the back, just can't win.

I put my hair up in a very high pony to sleep in. In the morning while hair I is still in high pony I put in 5 velcro curlers and spray w hair or setting spray...take shower, etc. When I take curlers out and brush hair, sometimes I will apply a small dab of finishing cream....hair looks fresh and not flat.
