Just in case there was any confusion about it, let me just say...
THE WEN COMB IS AMAZING!!!!!!
AMAZING!!!!!! REALLY AMAZING!!!!!!
THE WEN COMB IS REALLY, REALLY AMAZING!!!!!!
Clearly this is no ordinary comb. It must have been put together by those Star Wars light saber people. Or brought in from Krypton. Maybe Chaz had David Copperfield magically create it. Or those Lucky Charms elves had something to do with it. Or maybe it was those Keebler elves...
In any case, it kicks the stuffing out of any other comb I have ever used. And leaves me wondering why the heck it took me such a long time to order it ($13.50 with free shipping during Chaz's blackfriday sale).
I have thin/fine hair so I'm really fussy about my combs. I've tried the expensive british Kent combs and the Swissco combs, but I wasn't happy with the results. Ironically, I've had the best luck with two Goody wide tooth combs that I've probably had for 30-40 years. Maybe the rough edges of these two combs had gotten worn down over the decades and so they were less harmful to my hair.
In any case, my old combs are history now and my hair only has eyes for my Wen comb. Hasta la vista, Goody. Take a long walk off a short Alp, Swissco. *Kent comb takes a header off of a London Bridge... since The London Bridge is in Arizona*
Here's why I like the Wen comb so much...
* When I comb my hair after washing it, there's much less breakage (down by 50%)
* The comb is saw cut instead of molded. This means that there isn't a mold line down the inside center of the comb which would rough up the hair cuticles and weaken the individual strands of hair.
* The comb glides effortlessly through wet and dry hair. It feels great against my scalp. The comb's teeth are tapered for comfort.
* One side of the comb has wider teeth and the other side has narrower teeth. The spacing on the wide side is perfect to minimize breakage. The spacing on the narrower side is perfect to provide maximum hair definition while minimizing breakage.
* From an aesthetic perspective, the comb itself is beautifully designed so it's not an eyesore in the bathroom.
To make sure you have a real Wen comb I would recommend that you only buy a Wen comb from QVC or Chaz's salon. A number of people who have bought their "Wen" combs from ebay or amazon haven't been happy with their purchases and some think they may have been sold fake Wen combs.
Chaz's Wen comb is a really, really good thing!!!!!
