What Are The Symptoms of a Gallbladder AttacK?

I would appreciate it very much if someone who has had a gallbladder attack can let me know what the symptoms are? How long will a typical attack last? Do you always need to seek medical treatment while the attack is happening? Does an attack ultimately result in removal of the gallbladder? I have heard that some people think they are having a heart attack. Can you also pinpoint where on the body you feel the discomfort. A lot of questions..........thanks in advance for your help!
