The Story Behind My Mixed Lace Tunic TSV

Hi Kids!

I’m so excited to be back on QVC today! As you know I’ve been in St. Louis directing and designing a beautiful production of The Magic Flute for the Opera Theatre of St. Louis, but I couldn’t miss the chance to share with you the MOST gorgeous mixed lace tunic that you seriously cannot live without!

We based the style off of my best-selling iconic tunic that I know you girls just adore. The fit and length are perfection and I promise you will feel AMAZING in this top. You know I love mixing prints and patterns, so I’ve taken this idea into mixing laces. It’s an idea I incorporated into my couture designs for years and I’m so excited that I can now share the idea with you! My team and I were so inspired by the tile patterns found in Portugal, which led us to create the mix of geometric and a sort of floral-inspired swirl.

A piece from my couture line

The bib of the tunic is done in a dot-geometric pattern, and then I’ve mixed that with what I call primrose swirl lace. It mimics petals of a flower and we really took the time to perfect the scale, dimension, and pattern of the lace so that it is incredibly flattering. I have such a deep love for textiles, so creating the right lace was so important to me. Just look at the detail!

The time it took to make the lace of the main body of the top is incredible –  it took 10 machines 40 days! And the lace for the bib of the top took almost as long, too. It makes me so happy and proud that we’re offering such a quality and unique product to you.

Of course this tunic comes in some of my favorite colors – the Caribbean Blue and Passion Fruit are simply delicious and that Sunburst Yellow is EVERYTHING! The White is so fresh and screams SUMMER! You can pair this top with so many items in my collection, which I just love. My 24/7 pant in any length is the perfect compliment to this tunic. Add a wedge or my cute driving moc and you are suddenly the chicest girl in town! I also love it with one of my floral cardigans tied or draped over the shoulder. I swear this tunic will make your life a little happier and sunnier every time you wear it! It’s chic, sophisticated, and completely GORGEOUS! See you on air today!
