YAY!! I am so happy to see you. Since you have been gone for so long, you deserve your own thread.  Congrats on quitting smoking. How long has it been? I am an ex-smoker. Hey, have you heard about the new LE strawberry creme Oreos that Stacy was talking about? OMG!!! Nice to see you, hope you stay for a while.

sapph...how long has it been for you?
March 31st was one year for us. It seemed too easy though. We used Chantix and I swear it was a miracle.
I can't stand to see someone smoke or smell it. It's just too weird and wonderful how it worked for me.
Best thing I ever did!!!

I am a former smoker too, I quit 20 something years ago, yuck yuck and yuck, never again.

Congratulations on a year, that is great. My sister used Chantix and said it was a miracle too.
It has been about 10 years for me. It was easy for me because I had back to back bronchitis for over a year, and COULD NOT smoke! LOL
The smell does make me gag now. WHen my husband comes home from being at his sister's his clothes reek.

I would not pay the $6 and $7 that the packs go for now. That is so ridiculous.
Can you guys smoke in your restaurants? In NJ you can't, but we did lunch in PA and there was a smoking section.

It's only been 2 months for us and we're using the Chantix too. It doesn't seem to make it easy for me though. I don't know why. I'm afraid to even drink a beer.
I do want to try those oreos!

Judy, I was too irritable to be on the boards for awhile.
I like oreos, but if sapph has kisses, I'll take those too. She always finds the LE ones! I've yet to have a coconut one!

Hi Ajax and Welcome Back! Good Job on the smoking. It has been 3 & 1/2 years that DH and I both quit. It wasn't easy for Me at all- DH surprised me it was easy for him.. Hope to see you more often..

(((ajax))) It's going to get easier. I promise it will. I've always told you I am here for support if you need me.
I quit drinking too, but now I can have a beer and I absolutely do not crave a cigarette.
You know... I think the secret for us was that we did not set a quit date. We took the Chantix and kept smoking until the cigarettes tasted nasty!
One day we both finally just quit. YAY!!!
