dandygirl, Niacinamide is a form of niacin and is found in the Olay line of products - regenerist, total effects, definity, etc. There are many moisturizers to choose from so you can pick one based on your skin type. There is another company NIA24 that has it and is a little more pricey than the Olay line. -- "We cannot change the cards we are dealt, just how we play the hand." - Randy Pausch support Pancreatic Cancer research

I'm glad you asked this question, I was wondering the same thing. I use Neutrogena Anti Wrinkle Serum before bed (have for a few years now) and like it. I also use Renova about 3 times a week. Now I have to add something with niacin in it too? ! Would I now get something by Olay and just alternate with the Neutrogena? Jeeesh! All this info can be overwhelming ......

Birdie I use Neutrogena anti wrinkle at night, and use Olay Definity foam in the am. I also use Olay Recapture foundation. I use Olay Quench as my body lotion for the niacin.

I had this article Anti-Aging Super Stars from Paula's website saved on my favorites. It has the list of products that have the ingredients for : niacin, retinols, vitamin C, etc. Ther's an A list & B list of products. Lots of information Check it out. Here's the link: A-list Anti Aging Products There is a link to the B-list at the bottom of the page.

Are there any one-stop moisturizer or am I asking too much. There's no way I can put that many layers of skin care products. Besides when you have too many layers of stuff your makeup/foundation gets all messed up. So frustrating.

I love the Nia24 Skin Strengthening Complex. Skinstore.com now carries the line and so does Dermatology Now which does 25% off coupons.

Thanks for all the information. Just think how great we could all look if we actually could use all the superstars. However, to be beautiful on the outside, we must all be healthy, on the inside or it will show on the outside no matter what you do. -- Blond hair with red and gold hi and low lights, fair to medium skin, skin is in good condition, almost flawless. I tried a sample of this probably about a year ago, and the fragrance was just overwhelming. I have never used a skincare product with such a strong fragrance. Any chance that has been changed?

I don't think it has changed. It is strong but I happen to like it - I think it smells fresh. They do have a cream now. Haven't tried that so not sure about the smell on that product. I believe Nia came out of the University of Arizona skin cancer research program about three years ago. We lived in Tucson at the time (Seattle now) and the asthetician I went to there told me about the line after I commented on how great her skin looked. She had tried Nia after a rep had been into the salon with the products. My son loves this stuff - steals my tube when he's home from college.

Dr. Wexler's new moisturizer Intensive 3-in-1 day cream with spf 30 has niacin along with E,C and A. For 40 bucks its one great product. Highly recommended.

I am ordering some niacinamide from Personal Formulator dot com and will add it to my moisturizer. That way I can make sure I have the correct amount to help my skin. There are other sites where you can buy it and it is not expensive at all. I think about $9 or so.

Paula's choice uses niacinamide in some of her products. Check the ingredients on some of the toners and moisturizers. Also I believe that Philosophy's new cream Divine Illuminatiion has this also. I used to make my own serums and add niaciamide to it but now I just use Paula's since it's already in there.

Sounds like we might as well get Dr. Wexlers product and add it to what we already use. I have not seen her on the Q in ages. Even if what we already use has some of these ingredients do you think it would be over kill to add more? Last night I was watching the Dr. Oz special on this subject and his new book "You Being Beautiful" and he also said that our skin needs Omega 3,6,9, which we probably all take in our Omega vitimins, but topically, Philosophy has this product in their line!! Now what, should we add this too? I want one skincare line that meets these requirements, does anyone know if there is just one? Thanks, Judi -- Blond hair with red and gold hi and low lights, fair to medium skin, skin is in good condition, almost flawless. In BE I am Med-Beigh.
