I was thinking about purchasing this along with the Hair, Skin and Nails vitamins and was wondering if anybody else uses this and what, if any, are your results or how you feel? My doctor wants me to start a daily multivitamin and thought I would start here. TIA!

I use GNC Women's Ultra Mega vitamins. I've been using them for several years. I can't say that I notice a difference in how I feel, but it is supposed to be a good multi, so I keep taking it!

I only notice a difference if I stop taking them for a few days.

Hi-I have used the women's formula for years AND the hair and nails. I think the hair and nails makes a difference. The multivitamins much be doing their thing because I rarely get sick, but also get my sleep, workout and eat well. I figure they are doing their thing even if I don't directly feel them. I like GNC products. I am now using the women's active multi-vitamin as I workout alot. -- Wish it, dream it. dare it, do it!

Gym Bunny, I was also eyeing the Active Multi-vitamin. Do you think it's better than just the regular Ultra Mega?

For me, it is. I can't recall what the differences were as I've used the Active formula since it came out. I do know, that the higher formulations or extras were better for my lifestyle. My doctor has looked at this also and thought it was a good choice. I think it's a good choice if you are active. You could either go in the store and compare or check their website online. Have you shopped GNC before? If you have a gold card and shop the first week of each month, you get 20% off all items. -- Wish it, dream it. dare it, do it!

Gym Bunny, I was just on GNC's website comparing everything and I think the Active would be an excellent choice for me at this time. I do not have a gold card, though. I'll have to look into that. Thanks for the info.!

Brittany, I'm worried about that, too. I had a hard time when I had to take pre-natal vitamins and the iron in them, but my DH assured me that these won't do that. So I just plan on taking them after a meal with LOTS of water. If this iron starts to become a problem, I read on the website that I could return them after 10 days. So that's good!

I can never figure out the iron connection; I had a pretty knowledgeable person in a vitamin shop tell me all women don't need extra iron, so in the past, I've bought the kind w/out iron. I was trying to look this up on the net--any opinions out there about iron in a multi's? Thanks!

I take my vitamins prior to eating breakfast with some OJ. I've never had an upset stomach and I take several other types of vitamins along with my multi. -- Wish it, dream it. dare it, do it!

mhk, I read that Iron can help with forming healthy red blood cells, transporting oxygen, energy utilization, muscle function, and helps replace important nutrients during menstration. HTH!

I do have blood work done once a year and so far so good. I know every person is different though. -- Brittany
