What is your receipe for fun and enjoyable cooking?

What advice do you have for the new cook or someone who feels uncomfortable cooking and preparing meals. I am a stay-at-home mom who feels my creative juices in the kitchen are worn out and thus cooking lost it's fun and flair -- HELP!!!
