Mixing/matching Dooney bags and straps

I'm think about ordering the Dooney saffiano zip zip satchel in gray. I love to wear crossbody but I know the longer strap that comes with the zip zip is a shoulder strap. I already have a removable crossbody strap from another black dooney saffiano bag. Would it look funny to put the black strap on the gray bag?

I think it's totally a matter of taste.  Try it & see how it looks to you.  You can also call Dooney' s CS & ask about buying a long strap that will match the bag.  Good luck!

In this day and age, there isn't a right or wrong.

We see bags in more than one color, so I say, go for itWoman Wink

Personal preference.

Personally, it would bug me.

@Rachb If it works for you, go for it! I've done this from time to time as sometimes crossbody straps are not made long enough. Personally I like when bags are sometimes trimmed with different color leather or strap, especially grey. You see so much of it these days. Look at Dooney's barlow satchel, the bordeaux has black handles, the elephant has timorro handles, etc. Smiley Happy

It's a black strap in the same leather even, I'd do it
