Yogurt and Antibiotics

Can you eat yogurt while taking antibiotics? It seems like that would be counterproductive.....Antibiotics to kill off bacteria, yogurt just puts bacteria back into your system.....I'd like to have some yogurt to calm my stomach, but think it might interfere with the antibiotics.....

A check of the Internet found lots of conflicting information on this.....
