My Dr takes this along with glucosamine and  suggested I give it a try. It also contains black pepper extract.

I was able to attend mass tonight, but I still can't kneel on my knee

The capsules are quite large and I take it with food, and have had a small amount of tummy trouble, it didn't last long

Have any of you taken this for arthritis, and did it help?

Yes, I take both and they do help.  I usually use the organic powdered turmeric and make smoothies and golden milk.

@cherry

I take Swanson Turmeric and wouldn't be without it. Has helped LOTS.

My capsules are a mixture of both turmeric, and curcumin, with some black pepper added. I got them at Walgreens

@cherry

At the time, I was on a trip, ran out and ordered the ones with all of that stuff.

They were hard on my stomach. (I was having those issues anyway)

Keep those and figure they are stronger (Amazon reviews help me determine what people use and like)

Maybe start with the plain preparation first.

@LTT1  I've already bought them. I don't want to buy anything real expensive ,till I see if this helps me. They were only $25

How much are you taking? And how many times per day @cherry?

It takes 6 to 8 weeks on average to feel any effects.

@cherry,

Most of the credible info I have read about this sup recommends that you take 500mg three times a day with food. You are taking too much at once and that will give you a tummy ache. Taking 1500mg total per day is the recommended dose. Anything less will usually not give results. Taking only 1000mg all at once is also a waste. Your body can only absorb a certain amount at a time. That's why you need to spread it out over 24 hours.
