Re: Trigger finger treatment

[ Edited ]

I had trigger finger in my middle finger a few years ago. I would wake up with my finger bent double My doctor said I needed a surgeon.

I thought about my problem, and wondered if it might be related to me over using, but most of all holding my tablet. I bought a tablet holder, reduced my usage, and within a week the problem was gone

Re: Trigger finger treatment

My mom had surgery. Its the only thing that cured it. Its a pretty easy surgery. They dont even knock you out. Its usually done at a out patient center.

Re: Trigger finger treatment

Mine is ring finger, right hand. I started taking glucosamine and it has greatly improved. I went from at least 10 episodes a day to less than 5 a week. Getting better every week. Good luck, hope you find a solution.

Re: Trigger finger treatment

I’ve had trigger thumb twice...once in each hand. Both times, physical therapy fixed the problem.  Haven’t had another problem in years.
