DIET and EXERCISE

Saf slim and several other companies were just cited by the FDA and have to return millions to consumers who believed their claims of weight loss from their powders/pills.

Sadly, there is no magic bullet for weight loss. My guess is that this will be touted as a supplement to manage weight loss or to stimulate the metabolism in some way. I won't watch so don't crucify me if I am off base! I, too, believe that the best way to lose weight is to increase activity and decrease calorie intake.

There are some foods that are better for you than others, and surely QVC could promote information on those such as a healthy eating cookbook. Maybe those wouldn't sell as well as something like this product. Hey, I would love to pop a pill, eat waffles and bacon for breakfast and not feel full or gain a pound or two. When they invent it, I will buy it. But I doubt as if I will find it on QVC.

Cotto...thanks for the info on SafSlim. Yup, there are no quick fixes for weight loss and obviously diet and exercise are KEY...no getting around it. However, while researching information to help me get off the blood pressure meds, I have found scientifically/clinically proven supplementation that will assist me in this journey. You just have to be very selective and know that a pill is not the answer, but might be helpful. (Most of my supplementation is herbs, vitamins, and incorporating certain whole foods that have been proven effective to lower blood pressure, and will help me in losing weight.)

In the two studies discussed on the company's website, people took 800mg/day (two 400mg capsules per day). See

Doesn't that mean that there isn't any proof that the product sold by QVC and ReBody can work at the amount they are selling it at (400mg/day). You'd have to buy double the amount to match the studies.

My mistake... you get two bottles for a total of 120 capsules.

The before/after photos are intriguing, but when I read the fine print and saw that the AFTER photo is what she looks like after taking the product AND walking 30 minutes/day for 5 days each week AND limiting her calorie intake to 2000, it makes me think she probably could've gotten similar results without the product. It could be the exercise and lowering the daily calories that created the AFTER look.

I'd like to see an AFTER photo that features someone who just used the product without making those other changes.

Don't fall into this trap ladies..... if you listen closely you'll hear it besides you'll hear Naomi tell you that its "the exercise and the caloric intake" that matters. The extra boost of energy etc. will come from your food, water and exercise.

Do what the before and afters did to "really" lose the weight and that is "walk 30 minutes a day 5 days a week with a caloric intake of 2,000 calories(eating more sensibly)

Hmmmm $49.98 plus s/h of 5.72 plus 4.00.....hmmmm almost $60.00 NOPE! Waste of time and money.

Think about it ...... it doesn't make any sense besides Dr. Naomi is scripted and weird.

Something is off.....I don't trust her or the brand. Find the fight within ladies it's thereSmiley Happy

For those of you who are going to try this product, I wish you success. I have found that nothing that promises quick weight loss ever proves a good idea. Either something is published down the road that establishes the fact that the ingredients weren't good for your body and/or the weight doesn't stay off. The old "eat less, and exercise routine" is the only really safe way to lose weight and keep it off. And, yes, it takes a long time.
