As a nurse, I really loved my patients. The stress from the job almost never came from patients, but management, coworkers, the system...

I feel so bad for you! I hope you get well soon and can get out of the hospital. I also would like to thank you for your kind words. I am an ER nurse and prior to that I worked in ICU, and the OR. ER is my favorite though! It's a very tough job but when you have such kind remarks from patients such as yourself, it makes it all worth it! Take good care of yourself!!!
