Cryotherapy is exposing the body to extremely low temperatures (-190 and colder). You stand in a contained chamber for up to three minutes and the extreme cold acts to shock the system and reduce inflammation among other things! They have a new clinic in Boston that just opened this week and I am going to give it a try. While I am a little nervous I have read lots of good things about it! I am curious too if anyone on the boards has tried it.

I've read a little about it and have seen it on tv...@JasoninBoston,
try not to bump into anything, shatter the thought!😁

Above all, I hope the treatment works for you!

Thanks! The clinic in Boston is run by a medical dr. That makes me feel a little less anxious. She seems super nice.

It's so important to feel comfortable with your choices. Glad to hear that a MD is on premises. It's normal to be anxious about any procedure, especially a new one. I hope all goes well and that if you don't care for it, you can recoup the balance of your money.

Is it affiliated with any of the Boston hospitals? My guess would be no. That someone has an MD isn't a guarantee of safety. What kind of doctor is this person? Have you discussed this with your own doctor? You might want to call your doctor's office about this just to be sure.

"shatter" the thought.
I see what you did there...giggle.
I love your alternative thinking.
Try it & report back.
Good luck!!

Hey, I live in northern Minnesota, so that's like a normal February morning for us.

Hi in northern Minnesota, I feel your pain but must say the last two winters have been quite mild in southern Alaska. Almanac says not this year!💨❄️⛄️
