I voted this morning and I'm sure some of the people at the polls saw me cross myself and say a prayer before I picked up the inkpen :-)

I received my mammogram results - all clear.  I suppose having the digital breast tomosynthesis (3D) was a good idea however when I read the results, there seemed to be more disclaimers about my calcifications with the high tech mammogram than the other type of mammogram I've traditionally had for years.

grace,  that's really strange that you'd run into someone with almost my exact story! When I went to Chicago, I was given the choice of Phoenix, Atlanta or Chicago . I'll bet she's on femara too. I'm convinced it's the best thing for me right now.

My goodness, a person really had to keep on top of thinks. It's hard enough to have cancer and have to go through all kinds of tests, and then be told a test is not covered by the insurance company. Or a test is ordered for a person who had allergy reactions.

I have my mammogram on Thursday. Unless I get called back, I'll have to wait a week for a report. I'm not good with waiting. My blood tests and exam are scheduled for the day before Thanksgiving.

Good luck with your surgery tomorrow Maestra.  Everything is going to go well and it'll be like you got a new set.  Make sure you don't over do it when you get home.  You can't jeopardize your recovery.  💚💙💜💗💛💚💙💜
