Can I use this tracfone galaxy 5 with my straight talk phone plan?

I am a current TracFone use and am upgrading.  Just a few weeks ago, I signed up for another year of minutes, data, and text, that are good for a year.  My understanding is that the minutes etc. will carry over - but what about my year of service?  When I activate the new phone, will I still only have a year of service?

I understand that the initial minutes/data/text are good for 1 year from activation, When I purchase additional minutes in the future will they also be good for a year? Thank you for your assistance.

in todays special value, does that include 1350 mins and 1350 text?If I text it wont take away from my talking minutes?

@billford  you get 1350 of EACH, it won't take away from your talking min. if you text, they are all seperate.
