I think maybe we're being punked here. And I'll tell you exactly why I find THAT offensive:
Such nitpicking or trollery or whatever it is always unleases the anti-PC crowd, who rail about how we can't say anything anymore without offending someone.
Well, good. I think we should try to be sensitive. Long gone are the days when we could hurl insults and slurs with abandon, with the exception it seems of one particular man...but I digress.
So this opening post is very similar to the person who brings a harassment suit to court for something that doesn't at all rise to the legal definition of harassment. That person makes it much, much difficult for the next person who truly was a victim of illegal harassment.

I don't take offense at all. That comment can be taken a variety of ways and I'm sure he didn't mean it to be offensive. Personally, I am sick to death of women being so super sensitive. People are being called out for saying anything and everything (not necessarily rude comments) and it's still a free country. So if the anti-PC crowd bothers you, I'm thankful they are speaking up. Because the PC crowd cherry picks what is offensive. They also cherry pick who is permitted to say outrageous things and who is not. The comment that started this thread is absolutely ridiculous. By the way, women say rude, ugly things towards men, too. Take a look at some of the sitcoms - the men are made to look like buffoons.

This is funny because I feel the same way about the dedicated anti-PC crowd, @misschristy
I find that they are virulent in just what they consider to be the dreaded PC but quite incensed about what offends THEM.
The OP's comment, IMO, is trivial, as I had said. But worse, it potentially trivializes comments or remarks that are indeed inappropriate and insensitive.
There is such a thing as middle ground, although we're seen it erode almost into oblivion at this point in our society.

Men get better health care then women & I'm sick of it. Example men can go to the doctor & get viagra. Women go for their hormones & it's oh well too bad so sad.
NAT; You must know some really, really incompetent doctors.

@amohio "Allow" has a few different definitions including: "give the necessary time or opportunity for." It doesn't necessarily mean granting someone permission. For example:
Consulting the dictionary before jumping to conclusions allows you to educate yourself and prevent public embarassment.
Many words in the English language have multiple meanings including: run, take, break, turn, set, go, play, cut, up, and hand. Being aware of only one defintion of a word doesn't repudiate the existence of the others.

I do not like this brand at all. They bring this line in[which personally does not do it for me,plus prices]an take out vendors who are much better for style.

You shouldn't have said "little," that wasn't very nice. I'm not offended by the term "allow." There are so many things going on in the world right now ... we need to stop looking for things to be offended by.
