Looks like a great deal and so many colors. If I didnt have one already I'd be getting one.

I am so tempted to get one.  I'm just not sure how much I'd use it to get my money's worth.  I have a 20% off coupon from Macy's and they have the Artisan model with the ss bowl w/pour shield and it would come out as the same price as the Q's TSV price.

For those who have this mixer, is the pour shield feature very helpful?

I purchased the mixer as a gift thru Macy's but wish my niece had waited for this TSV for several reasons but I got a great deal $224 after discounts and coupons.

I'm so tempted love the tilt back and glass bowl!

I have a pro600 by KA and there's no way I could "smuggle" that into my gift closet!!! Lol!!!

i never used the pour shield as its a nuisance and falls off, at least off my bowl.

I have the tilt and the lift versons and I find the pour shield works better on the bigger lift model than it does on the tilt version.  I usually start with it on and take it off as I can't get the ingredients in with the tilt model unless I lift the head up, which (IMO) defeats the purpose.

Because the lift model is wider, I can usually get the ingredients in on that one without a problem, so the pour shield stays on all the time.

I would say it's personal preference and depends on what you're making.  I would not let this accessory make or break your decision on where to purchase it.  It's not that important of an accessory in the grand scheme of things.

Target is advertising a KitchenAid stand mixer for $199.99 on Cyber Monday only.  If you are shopping for one, might check out your local Target's offering.
