Y&R sloppy writers or editor...

[ Edited ]

It is getting harder to watch this

Victor role is more like his father who left him..

One moment Summer loses Ben, the next momnet she claim her spot at Newman, and than she resumes looking for missin Ben...

Crime scence is not even fully investigate, even if someone is off their rocker, you still need to establish chain of evidence as best as possible.

First Luca is a tuff guy, and than he is talting to Adam and Victor how Noah is playing them Huh?

BTW I think Luca is going to fall for Summer...

I agree.  As many times as Victor has been near death, you would think he would appreciate life more and not be as hard hearted!!  When did Summer loose a child?  I rarely miss watching.    And with another Billy - well there is absolutely no chemistry whatsoever between him and Victoria!!!!!  How could anyone not know they hadn't given birth recently?  She was all drugged up at first but her doctor should have noticed she is not a woman who has recently given birth and surely she would know that as she has given birth before!!!  She sure didn't seem to have any doctor attending to her when she was supposedly pregnant!!!  So many WAY TOO unbelievable things.

Re: Y&R sloppy writers or editor...

I was an avid watcher for years and years, starting way back in the '60s.  I was working then and would record it - first thing I would do when I got home was take off my work clothes, put up my feet and watch my VCR.  But I stopped a couple of years ago when I became disgusted with a particular story line.  Every once in a while, I will watch an episode and I'm still not interested.  The story lines get too muddled and ridiculous, and more interestingly, they are repetitious.

Re: Y&R sloppy writers or editor...

I have only watched Y&R for about 7 years. I think there needs to be another person

playing Victoria. The new Billy is ok, but much to young to play Victoria's husband.

I know in real life she has had stress with her sister, so my daughter tells that has watched since it started almost, but she is looking very old. They need to cut her hair and make her look younger or replace her.

Just might thoughts.

The whole "Detective Dylan" thing makes me nuts!  Paul has always been a dufus when it comes to crime investigation dating back to his P.I. days.  Now he's the chief of police (lol) and he hires his P.T.S.D. son without any academy training to be a detective.  Dylan is a loose cannon who goes off on his own all the time and yesterday he interrogates nutso Pattycake like he's back in the military and had to actually be told to leave the room.

It seems that every single storyline is so convoluted and drawn out FOREVER and it's suppose to keep the viewers interest??  The writers seem to be making it up on a daily basis.....jmo!

@Pook@javala meant that Summer let Ben's son, who she was babysitting, sneak off.  Summer didn't miscarry.

Y&R is losing even Soapland credibility faster than a speeding bullet.  So is B&B.  (I didn't mean to underline anything but can't seem remove it).  I'm trying not to give up on them cause they're like an old friend that I don't want to lose.

You are so right about Victor.  With him having Colleen Abbott Carlton's heart, he should love the Abbotts.  What is Victor going to do if the writers decide to say that Natalie is his daughter.

Sloppy writing for sure, javala.  Actually, I don't think they are even trying to do better.

This is make-believe, thus a soap opera.  I hate some of the story lines too. And some don't make any sense or drag on way too long.   Thank goodness for fast forward!   But soaps aren't supposed to be real.

You are so right that excitement of something to look forward too

After all the build up with Dr A to confront her, they instead kill her off, Y&R has done that a lot to their story lines we never get satisfying ending to the long drag out plots.

The Young and the Restless premiered in 1973.  I've been watching it since that first episode.  It has gone downhill for the last couple of years.  I still watch, hoping that the writers will improve the storylines and characters, but it isn't happening.  This is the first time that I've been bored and uninterested in it.  They are ruining this wonderful soap.

@gonnab@Mmsfoxxie@Annabellethecat66  did you see my diatribe if it isnt broken why tamper with it... during those changes I was 100 percent tomboy and when I got older I became 100 per cent women did not need a movement to stake my claim it is all in the mind of the beholder.

Every creature born on earth was given agency! We were blessed to be born in place of the most freedom on earth in still we show little or no graditude just more, more....

The irony of it all is...

The best kept secret is that those who show graditude get more....

This style of writing use to go on in the 1950's in TV writing, I remember I was about 10 or so....

If you want more of this kind of entertainment than let the socialist take over America...  Some have forgotten that period, and other never heard or knew about the it, therefore they have nothing to compare it too.
