Re: Really, REALLY OLD Children's TV

[ Edited ]

Most of them were local TV shows in black and white. Wanda Wanda... Breakman Bill,  of course the wonderful JP Patches.... Romper Room and Captain Kangaroo...   many others I watched as well growing up that the names are not coming to me.

Delighted to see so many mentions of different shows.

Is there ANYONE here who remembers The Great Foodini (Earlier referred to as "Lucky Pup)?

Or Magic Cottage? (may have been local). Or The Mary Hartline Show? Or Smilin' Ed's Gang?

Re: Really, REALLY OLD Children's TV

I remember receiving a drawing set for Christmas.  It was John Nagy, I believe, and I would put a plastic film over the tv screen and trace his drawing.  I thought I was really drawing.  Of course my siblings weren't too happy because they couldn't watch the only tv we had.
