New episodes of the original series Melissa & Joey premiere on Wednesday, January 15th from 8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT.

The kick-off, "What Happens In Jersey..." Part 2, (S3/Ep15), is the conclusion of the September 4, 2013 cliffhanger, that began with Joey devising a plan to disguise Mel as his former wife Tiffany, in order to fool his aging grandmother during a visit to the old East Coast neighborhood. While pretending to be husband and wife, they find themselves in a compromising situation and come very close to revealing the worst-kept secret of the last few years: their true feelings for each other.

Prior to "What Happens In Jersey..." Part 2, (S3/Ep15), ABC Family will present a Melissa & Joey marathon the day of premiere from 12-8pm.

M&J's first holiday episode, "A New Kind of Christmas," (S3/Ep16), that aired December 11th, showed how after Joe's flight is cancelled, he ends up spending Christmas with Ryder and Lennox's mother Meredith, who destroyed his career.

In this sitcom, a family scandal leaves Melissa ("Mel") Burke, a local politician, to care for her niece, Lennox, and nephew, Ryder, alone. She hires a man named Joe Longo to become the family's male nanny, or "manny." It was that same financial scandal, engineered by Mel's now imprisoned brother-in-law and aided by Mel's sister, that ruined Joe's life, personally and professionally.
