I watched it on HBO last night. I thought it was ok but not wonderful.

I actually paid money to see it. Mistake. Didn't Jennifer Lawrence win an award for it? She is a good actress, but this part did not warrant an award.

Do you remember the snooty QVC host that was offended when Bradly Cooper's character did not say she was the most selling host? She looked like Jane Tracey, at least that's what I thought at the time. Funny.

Movie should have gone no far than a Liftime movie or one shown on the Hallmark Channel.

I have this movie scheduled for later this coming week I believe. I've been looking forward to seeing it at some point, but I've never heard it was anything great. Hopefully, it won't be time I wish I had back. hehe

If I hadn't heard this was the story of the Joy on HSN I would have never known. Although Jennifer was very good I didn't think she represented the real Joy very well mainly because Joy herself is so emotional. However, Joy's life story of from "rags to riches" is very impressive.
