Ijust received an email saying that Ina is filming a new series for Food Network called " Cook Like A Pro " . It will start airing in May, and it will be good to see some new Barefoot  Contessa shows.

@QVCkitty1, thank you so much for posting this great news!  I have every one of her cookbooks, love her style of cooking & will no doubt be tuning in!

I'd only watch if JEFFREY is on!

Ina's recipes are very reliable. They always work! Lately, her Barefoot Contessa shows have seemed a bit gimicky. There is a story line created to give a reason for Ina to make her recipes. Maybe this new show will be more about cooking and less about the story line.

Sounds promising, I'll check it out.

I've never made a bad Ina recipe.  I've made 1 or 2 that I wouldn't necessarily make again, but they weren't bad.

Ha, I won't watch it if he is on.  I hate the way she acts like a 12 year old      girl when he is on.  Just cook and leave him out of it.

Since I no longer have cable,  I hope Food Network makes the episodes available on iTunes.  I agree with other posters that I've never had a failed Ina Garten recipe.
