I hate it also.  The thing that irritates me the most is that kid's laugh.  It's like nails on a chalkboard.  It's on ALL the time and I just figured out last week what the dumb thing was even advertising.  I still didn't even understand the point of it until your post explained it (I tend to block out things that I find the least bit annoying!!!!)!!!!!!

I hate it too.  I think he is yelling Phil but it always sounds like Ewwwwww to me.  I also hate any ads for Ask your Dr., law firms (especially TV mesh), and ED pills.  I cannot watch HS and ASPCA commercials.  And the Toyota lady is getting on my nerves too, lol.

Oh my gosh, the one with the horses head was just on....I have to say the idea is kinda clever, but the girl brushing her headless horse makes the most evil face!!

I also agree the Peter Pan Geico commercial is stupid.

I dislike that horse's head ad also.  The state of the world right now and they think that is funny?

I don't like the ad either but the one I see more and can't stand is the travelers insurance ad where the daughter and father cry in every flashback.

The kid in the ad is a little annoying but it doesn't bother me.  The Viagra ads don't bother me either.  Maybe if they were "doing it", then sure.  But no big deal.  I wonder, are men bothered by the Viagra ads?

I dislike the Peter Pan commercial too....another one that grates on my nerves is the girl who NAMED HER CAR BRAD ...I think it is for insurance also.

Like the others...I DVR now and zip right thru all the commercials...

Yeah, I don't like that Geico "Peter Pan" commercial, either.  The good news is that Geico changes out their commercials pretty often, so hopefully this one's scheduled to go away soon,  Now if only we could do something about Flo from Progressive...

There seems to be so many commercials i can think of that i dislike so instead the ones i really like come to mind........i especially like the State Farm commercial where the young man states "i am never getting married"....then you see him proposing...."we are never having kids"...then a child is born...."we are never living in the suburbs"....then they do...."we will never drive one of those" (family van)...then he is washing it.......then she tells him she is pregnant and he is sitting on the sofa with his whole family saying he will "never let go"..................just a great commercial..and SO TRUE of the thoughts one goes through the many years.......

I'll tell ya - I was firmly planted in the 'please make Flo go away' camp until that Liberty insurance company came out with those beyond-horrible commercials.  Those made Flo look almost watchable.  If I had to make one of those two go away it would be the Liberty one.  That is coming from one of the people who couldn't stand Flo!

I will say, however, that I rather like the actor who plays her.  I would watch her in something else.   She was in season one of 'Mad Men' just a little bit (one of the switchboard operators) and also in a fairly recent sitcom (that I haven't seen lately, so I don't know if it's gone or not).   She is entertaining for sure.  Smiley Happy
