Glen Campbell - The Rhinestone Cowboy

I just read on Facebook, where he is in the final stages (stage 6) of Alzheimer's  .............  sending prayers to his family, so sad!

He has fought this disease for so long. His family is amazing.

Sorry to learn this, but it was inevitable.

I watched an excellent CNN documentary about his last concert tour after he announced his Alzheimer's.  Very touching. Did anyone else see that?

I saw that.  And the song he wrote with his daughter brings me to tears.

You could tell in the documentary how much his daughter loves him.  I thought she was acting kinder to him than his wife was.

It's not something I would normally view, but I did watch and I found it very interesting. It was pretty sad towards the end where he was forgetting the words to his songs. I was glad when the family made the decision to stop having him tour.

I saw the documentary twice which is unusual for me to do in such a short time of seeing something the first time.  Very touching.
