I'm trying to get through this. It is a feast for the eyes, but it's no Downton Abbey. I do want to look up Anthony Trollop, the original author of the series. Jullian just got it to t.v., but his introduction of the author made me interested enough to want to look the author up.

 

I feel like I'm watching others at the time of Old Scrooge. Love that time period.

Trollope is a wonderful author

but they are using Downton just to get viewers there really is no connection between the stories 

 

i have read many of his books love them
