To me this is even better news than Maks being back.  Derek's choreography is the best!   The show isn't the same w/out him.

From People Magazine website: "Fan-favorite pro dancer Derek Hough posted on his Facebook pageMonday that he will be joining already revealed returning pros Maksimand Valentin Chmerkovskiy, Witney Carson, Sharna Burgess, Artem Chigvintsev, Lindsay Arnold, Sasha Farber, Allison Holker and Gleb Savchenko for season 23."

I know he got engaged this past year, maybe he's busy with that....

Great news about Derek,s return. I consider him to be one of the finest dancers of modern times. He is an extraordinary talent and seems like a lovely person too.

Is the first time that Derek is partnered with an older person, Marilu is in her 60's, and I do think she has dance experience.
