NASCAR.com is reporting that since Dale Earnhardt Jr. has not been released by his doctors to drive the no. 88 car at Indianapolis or Pocono, Jeff Gordon will replace him behind the wheel at these races. Earnhardt is currently being treated for concussion-like symptoms and was replaced by Alex Bowman last week at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

This has made me so happy.
First, George Strait comes out of touring retirement to work in Vegas.
Then Jeff gets back in the car for Dale.
All I need is Jeter to come back and lead us to the World Series and my year will be made ;o)
