Shoes

I was surfing and saw the competion. I have about 3 pairs of Bobs and they look like Toms which I never had.

Bob's is Skechers copy of Tom's.  I think Tom's has better quality.

for me they feel and wear the same......but bobs are cheaper.

i generally buy bobs.

I don't know if Bob's does this, but Tom's donates one pair of shoes to children in need in 70+ countries for every pair of shoes they sell.  That's a big selling point for me!

I love canvas shoes.  

I've bought both Tom's and Bobs. Tom's was the first, and I still love many of their styles. 

But I own more of the Bobs shoes by Skechers. 

Bobs has good cushioning in their shoes, including a pillow arch. I like that support. Also, I find Bobs on sale at retailers like Shoebuy and 6 p.m.    

They're both well-made IMO, and I like them both.

Personally, I think the Toms are better looking.

Thanks for answering! My son whose name is Bob thinks they are cute. I never saw Toms advertised before.

Toms have a narrower heel than the Skecher Bobs. I can't wear the Skecher Bobs shoes as the heel slips off the back of my heel but I can wear Toms as they fit better on my feet.

I think Tom's has a great concept, and I love their shoes. 

Great ideas are going to be copied. Skechers isn't the only one making canvas shoes that look like Tom's - they are everywhere! Target, Old Navy, Payless, etc.    

Considering how many retailers carry them, Bobs by Skechers seem to be selling well. Their Go Walk line, which is a variation on the canvas shoe, has been a big hit.

Tom's seems to be doing fine, too. There's room for all.
