I'm giving in and getting a few pairs. Until it's hits the 50's, I'll wear open toe shoes without an issue. It's 68 and sunny so a a pair of shooties (is that what open toe booties are called?), a pair of jeans and a longer sleeve top/blouse is fallish without being too heavy in weight for the temps.

I've always avoided any kind of peep toe shoes because I don't like how toes look. Even in sandals, I prefer the kind that cover most or all of the toes.

 

Peep toe booties make no sense to me, even though I live in a warm climate.
