I hope they don't change this brand.  It is one of the few brands I can wear!

I bet the prices go sky high and the quality goes down.

Not loving this news. ES does wide widths, MF does not. Love the e360 line of athleisure shoes.

BTW, doesn't MF's dad own (or owned) Nine West? Keeping it in the family?

Maybe I should stock up.  HSN has some good prices on this brand.

Re: Marc Fisher buys the Easy Spirit shoe brand

I always see a lot of the Marc Fisher brands of shoes at Winners and T.J.Maxx and the quality looks cheap and made for an outlet or leftover invenfory that was originally made for an american retailer, including QVC. I expect that a lot of Macy's shoes will end up at T.J. Maxx, Marshall's and Winners. I seldom see Easy Spirit shoes at Winners but I have been in the Easy Spirit outlet store in the south Premium outlet mall, I wonder if that store will now be selling other Fisher brand shoes at that outlet?

Oh, my --- I sure hope not -- but this is what I am afraid of!

I totally agree.  With my heel spurs and the Achilles heel issues, they are the only shoes now in my wardrobe.  The liners go in the wash and air dry.  Occasionally, the rest of the shoe does too.

The only issue I have had with ES clogs: sometimes the " unique " color or patterned ones are ever so slightly shorter that the standard ones.....may be a different manufacturer ?
