Has anyone ever had a D & B handbag that smelled bad?

I am looking for a nice summery colored bag. I bought two Tigs recently and had to return them because of the smell. I'm admiring Dooneys in bright colors. I have bought three a while back in tan, brown colors. I wondered if the bright colors smell ok.
