that "Italian leather" is not the same as made in Italy...now that I have written it out it looks fairly obvious. I guess I did not realize it. One day I was looking an item up and heard on the tv a description about,"the finest Italian leather." So, I looked up the item and it said made china...That struck me as weird so I looked the term Italian leather. This from one of the articles I read...
"Remember that Italian leather is not leather from Italy, but leather worked using very old chemical processes which in most cases are very secret. Of course the quality of the leather also matters, but its sourcing is a very costly process, which is why sourcing the leather from the Italian workshops can save you time and money. You could find that sourcing the key rings directly from Italian manufacturers is a better option. "
I did not know this...maybe I am not the only one. It does not change anything, per se but now I understand the difference.
