Thanks to those who responded to my question on sizing. That was very helpful, I did not know about that sizing trick re: the foot print on the shoe bed.

The chart is a little off. I'm a perfect 7 wide in all shoes --- and size 37 Regular in Birkenstocks/Birkies. The chart shows that I would wear size 38 Wide in Birkenstocks/Birki's. I own around 20 pairs - and 38 Wide would be too long and too wide.
