Birkenstock Repair?

I have a pair of Birkenstock Milano that I purchased several years ago. The leather is separating on the side from the cork. They are not worn out at all. Is there any glue I can get to repair this area. Has anyone used any glue on the cork and leather area? I feel this may be a one time glue opportunity and want something that I know will work. Any suggestions?
