I have read all of the comments about whether rain/water will spot the florentine leather. So I do not carry my gorgeous bags on rainy or cloudy days. I am going into the hospital to visit my Mom and a couple of men are waving their hands and pointing at me. I was carrying a diet drink and the cap was not secure so the drink was slowly pouring onto my bag. I almost died! (well not really die). I managed to get most of it off, but there are still a few spots on my royal blue bag. Avoiding the rain but pouring a diet soft drink on it. Am I the only dunce who has done anything similar?
