I like this one because it's so easy and we all like it!

I usually don't add any thing other than onion and sometimes green peppers.

upside down pizza

Upside Down Pizza

1 ½ lbs. ground beef

salt and pepper to taste

1 medium onion, chopped

½ teaspoon garlic powder

2 (8 oz). cans tomato sauce OR 1 (15 oz.) jar of pizza sauce

1/2 teaspoon oregano

½ teaspoon dried basil

pinch of red pepper flakes- optional

optional pizza additions- mushrooms, green peppers, olives, bacon, sausage

1 (8 oz.) block of mozzarella cheese, grated

2 eggs

1 tablespoon oil

1 cup milk

½ teaspoon salt

1 cup flour

½ cup grated parmesan cheese

Preheat oven to 375. Brown ground beef and onion; drain off grease. Season with salt, pepper and garlic powder. Blend in tomato sauce, oregano, basil and red pepper flakes. Optional items may be added as desired.

Put mixture in lightly greased 9 x 13 pan, sprinkle with mozzarella cheese. Set pan in oven while making “crust”. Beat together eggs, oil and milk with a mixer. Beat in salt and flour.

Remove pan from oven and pour batter over it evenly. Sprinkle with parmesan. Bake for 30-40 minutes.
