Double all ingredients in this recipe for 8 servings in a 5-6-quart pot. This makes 4 servings in a 3 to 4.5-quart pot
One 3-pound whole chicken
1 16-oz. package of frozen mixed vegetables
1 (1.5-oz.) envelope beef stroganoff sauce mix
½ teaspoon each of paprika, onion powder and garlic powder
Combine vegetables and sauce mix in the crock. Sprinkle seasonings on the chicken.
Place chicken in the crock over the vegetables.
Cover and cook on low 8 hours or high 4 hours.

wonder if you could use frozen stew vegetables in this instead of just frozen mixed veggies? what do you think?
anyway, sounds very good and a nice way to make chicken, no fuss.
