This is a recipe that I got from my wonderful MIL (RIP). I hope you enjoy it and make the necessary changes to suit your own dietary restrictions.

1/2 pound mushrooms

4 TBS butter

2 green onions, chopped

3 TBS flour

1 1/2 cups half and half

1/2 pound crabmeat

1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

1/3 cup white wine

1 cup cooked rice

salt and pepper to taste

1 1/4 cup grated Monterey Jack cheese

Slice mushrooms and saute in butter. Add green onions. Blend in flour, add half and half and crab. Fold in the remaining ingredients, except cheese. Place in casserole and top with cheese. Bake at 350 degrees until cheese is melted and bubbly. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
