Way back in the late 60's I would have a grilled cheese and homemade cinnamon roll at my high school at break time.  Bite of salty, bite of sweet!  Didn't have to worry about my weight then either.  Those were the days.  Smiley Wink

What two go good together for you. Anything, not just soup and sandwiches.

 


My 50 year old daughter was born on Ash Wednesday, so we were having a meatless meal of grilled cheese and tomato soup.  She was born quickly just a few hours later.  After that easy birth, this became a favorite meal and I still like it years later.

 

I also like meatloaf and mashed potatoes combo.
