Looking for a nutty rye bread recipe

I was in Denmark earlier this year for work and fell in love with the nutty rye bread that is used for their open face sandwiches. I have poked around on Google and not found a recipe that really strikes my fancy. Thought I would ask in this forum because I have read many yummy suggestions.
