I happened across this recipe in Allrecipes. com. I like it for Easter leftover ham and I like it because the made - up sandwiches can be plastic wrapped, frozen and reheated when you need a quick lunch on a busy day.

HOT EGG AND HAM SANDWICHES

Original Recipe Yield 8 servings

Ingredients

 • 1 cup finely chopped fully cooked ham
 • 2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
 • 1 small onion, chopped
 • 1/3 cup chopped stuffed olives
 • 2 hard-cooked eggs, chopped
 • 1/2 cup chili sauce
 • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
 • 8 hot dog buns

Directions

 1. In a bowl, combine the ham, cheese, onion, olives and eggs. Stir in chili sauce and mayonnaise. Place about 1/3 cupful in each bun; wrap individually in foil. Place on a baking sheet. Bake at 400 degrees F for 10 minutes or until heated through.
