GREEN PEA CASSEROLE

1 (15-oz) can peas, drained; 1 (10 3/4-oz) can condensed cream of celery soup; 1 (2.5 oz) package slivered almonds; 1 (2.8 oz) can onion rings, divided; 1 (2-oz) jar pimentos; and 1 (12-oz) can evaporated milk.

PREHEAT the oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 1 1/2-quart casserole dish with margarine. In a medium-size mixing bowl, combine the peas, soup, almonds, 1/2 can of the onion rings, pimentos, and evaporated milk.

POUR into the casserole dish & bake for 15 minutes. Add the remaining 1/2 can onion rings to the top of the casserole & bake for another 5 minutes or until bubbly.

YIELD: 6 to 8 Servings.
