3/4 C. buttermilk or milk
2 tsp. vanilla extract
1 1/2 C. mini chocolate chips
Chocolate Glaze:

3 Tbsp. butter, melted
2-4 Tbsp. milk
6-8 strips of bacon, cooked and crumbled

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease your Bundt pan well.
2. Sift cake mix into a small bowl to remove any lumps and add instant pudding mix to it.
3. In a large bowl, combine eggs, oil, sour cream, buttermilk and vanilla.
4. Stir in cake mix and instant pudding mix until smooth.
5. Add chocolate chips and stir again.
6. Dump into prepared pan and spread out evenly.
7. Bake for 35-45 minutes or until an inserted knife comes out clean.
8. Glaze: Combine powdered sugar, butter and 2 Tbsp. milk. Add more milk if needed to reach a pourable consistency.
9. Pour glaze over cooled cake and spindle bacon on top. Go heavy on the bacon, your man will appreciate it.

We wouldn't eat that, but it look's delicious. It seems as if garlic was so popular a few years ago, and now it's bacon in everything!

LOL! Two of my favorite things to eat.

We have a cupcake place in town that makes maple bacon cupcakes that are to die for - maple iced cupcakes with lots of bacon on top. Yum!

This looks awesome!

I made Double chocolate bacon cookies during the holidays and they were a huge hit. It's a little salty with your sweet. Delish and so easy.

May have to try this if I'm going someplace with a crowd.

I don't understand the current fad of putting bacon in everything. It's known to be a very unhealthy food, and at a time we are all trying to lighten recipes, it simply makes no sense to ADD fatty, salty ingredients to perfectly good foods.

So, don't make the cake and don't eat it; no one is forcing you to, and it's not your job to tell people what they should or shouldn't eat - you're not the food police.

Is that a recipe you can share? I'm thinking the troops would LOVE it!
