Hi Everyone. I was wondering if you'll share what foods you and your families will be eating or cooking on Easter Sunday. I'm not sure why I am struggling to come up with some new ideas this year. Maybe I'm still recovering from the Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Years dinners we hosted at my home over the past few months. Here's a few ideas I've put together since searching through my dozens of cookbooks and the internet for ideas:
marinated lamb chops
pancetta wrapped pork roast
spiral baked ham with mango/dijon glaze
layered potato/prosciutto/parmesan/onion "cake"
Zov's orzo salad with feta, lemon, roasted peppers, kalamata olives, sauteed mushrooms
spinach salad with almonds and dried cranberries
roasted asparagus bundles
Pioneer Woman's rosemary dinner rolls (super easy!)
fresh fruit platter
Jumbo strawberries with marshmallow /cream cheese (to die for!) dip
Italian ice cream truffles
Assorted Italian Pastries
Of course, Chocolates!
Assorted Italian sodas
Coffee / Tea
Please share your ideas or traditions with us!
