In style, out of style... doesn't matter to me.  When the temps get below zero, they are my go to.

In style or out, corduroy is not great for plus-sized ladies (a large portion of QF's customer base) unless you want people to hear you "swish" with every stride. I have no firm opinion as to like/dislike, but I have never been able to wear cords "silently" even when I wore a 12 or 14.

Another corduroy fan here--not the wide wale but the narrow that almost looks and feels like velvet.  Love them in the winter.

I like the look of corduroy, but I don't like the way it wears...the shine on the seat, etc.
