Waterford Crystal -- made everywhere except Ireland

Oh, the small factory they now have in Ireland does make a few of their "prestige" pieces and some older pieces may still bear the "Made in Ireland" sticker, but other than that, Waterford crystal is outsourced, mainly to Eastern Europe.

One review of a set of beverage glasses noted that the sticker on the box said "Made in Germany." Perhaps QVC should not put "Made in Ireland" in its description of every single Waterford item offered.

A reminder to myself from pro golfer Walter Hagen (1892-1969)
