Re: Y&R Grp Wk July 27...SPOILERS!

At the hospital, Sharon and Dylan anticipate the first ultrasound on their baby. Ben appears. They're thrilled he's been reinstated. Sharon goes to find the technician and encounters Sage who also has an appointment. Sage admits she doesn't know where she stands with Nick anymore. Sharon reassures her and offers to talk to him. Sage tells Sharon about her lie. Sharon acts supportive. Meanwhile, Dylan and Stitch discuss the changes in their lives the past year. Stitch lets Dylan know he and Abby aren't headed for the altar yet and Dylan shares that he feels he's getting everything he ever wanted. They join Sharon and Sage. After, Dylan and Sharon have their ultrasound and see the baby. They don't want to know the sex. Later, Sage is taken in when it becomes apparent Nick won't show.

At the Club, Nick tells Adam that Sage had a DNA test done and the baby is his. Adam retorts that he doesn't put much faith in that given his history with DNA tests. Nick asks, "How did you know that?" Adam says people talk. They are bickering loudly about Sage when Chelsea appears. She says Sage's baby is a miracle and she really loves Nick. Adam insists she could be lying. Nick goes. Adam asks Chelsea why she defended Sage. Upstairs, Noah surprises Marisa in her robe while pretending to be room service. Marisa repeats that she wants to avoid the same old patterns. Noah has sliders for them to eat. They laugh and she apologizes for not being honest about Marco. Noah says he's dead and she's not responsible for the deaths. They kiss.

At The Underground, Kevin and Mariah prepare to go to the lake. Abby appears and questions them. One says fishing and the other says swimming. Abby figures they're going skinny dipping. Talk turns to the murders. Abby senses they have new information. They tell her the cops may have been wrong to rule out Marco, who may have drowned. Abby wants to go to the police. Kevin and Mariah tell her Noah is protecting Marisa and explain the connection to Marco. Marisa and Noah arrive. Abby calls Marisa scum. Noah snaps at Kevin and Mariah and tells Abby that she could put Marisa's life in danger. She agrees to stay mum. Once alone, Noah reassures Marisa she'll be safe. Nick appears. Noah wonders why he's not at Sage's appointment. Nick says he can't trust Sage or the guy she slept with. They talk it out. Nick admits that technically she didn't cheat on him - his issue is her telling him he was the father before she knew for sure. Marisa thinks Sage was trying to protect him. Sage arrives. She says everything is fine with the baby - she understands why he didn't show up and intends to get out of his life. She kept the truth from him because she didn't want to hurt him or lose him. "I'm sorry." Nick stops her. It's his fault; he pushed her away. Even if Gabe was the father he'd still want her. They embrace.

Abby meets Stitch at the Club and tells her Victor kept her on as C.O.O. Stitch's schedule will be crazy too. As they head upstairs, she says she'll tell him about a break in the murder case. By the bar, Chelsea asks Adam why he's trying to make Nick doubt Sage. He's not sure the baby she's carrying is Nick's. Chelsea realizes it could be his. "Son-of-a-bitch!" She lashes out that there's no excuse for him cheating on the wife and family he supposedly loves. Chelsea feels everything he says is a lie. "All lies." Adam says it was one night when he learned Chelsea was marrying Billy. Chelsea thinks he's causing trouble for Nick to one-up him. She doesn't want to be a part of his games. Upstairs, Abby tells Stitch the murderer might be dead and they get amorous recalling how they got together. They undress and fall onto the sofa in a passionate clinch.

At the lake, Mariah is turned on by Kevin's flippers.

At Crimson Lights, Dylan enthuses about the ultrasound photo. Sharon becomes emotional about Sage having to face her pregnancy alone. She tells Dylan if he's going to walk out on her to do it now. Dylan is taken aback. He reassures her he's not going anywhere. "I want this baby more than anything." Sharon then decides he's staying because of the baby. Dylan wants a future with her no matter what. "I love you."

Kevin and Mariah return to The Underground. They tell Noah and Marisa they've been to the lake. "You'll never guess what we found." They found the car, but no body; no Marco.

At the penthouse, Adam tells Chelsea he owes her an apology and wants to see Connor. She says they're both better off without him and closes the door.

The thing with Sage was just some recreational fun? Other guys play golf, you have sex with you ex-wife?" Chelsea asks Adam.

"You've been to the lake, haven't you?" Marisa asks. "You'll never guess what we found," Kevin tells her.

Tuesday July 28:

Victor says, "No more secrets, no more lies." Victoria says, "Truth, Dad. What happened between you and Jack in the park."

Christine asks Paul, "What happened now." Paul replies, "I went to arrest Gabriel Bingham. He's gone. He left town."

Re: Y&R Grp Wk July 27...SPOILERS!

Reposting this from last weeks discussion, because I think it needs to be said again. Besides, I'd just posted it this morning before the new week's post went up:

Ever since Pratt arrived it's been one bad choice after another, one stupid story after another, one pot shot at the female characters after another, one bad casting choice after another, and he apparently thinks he can obfuscate it all with 'disaster' and 'shock value' story lines, based on his apparent assumption that characters don't matter.  He would be wrong.  Yes, someone needs to take a poll before he not only manages to kill off half the cast, but before he kills off the entire show, as I understand he has been effective at doing with others.  And, as noted before, his track record for the longevity of shows he writes isn't exactly the stuff dreams are made of.

Re: Y&R Grp Wk July 27...SPOILERS!

[ Edited ]

I'd also note that the rivalry between Newman and Jabot has always been a feature of the show, but it hasn't always been front and center all the time... They need to give it a rest. The whole 'corporate intrigue' thing, in and of itself, just isn't all that interesting.  In the past, it served as a way to highlight charcters, but as a focal point, really, who cares...?

@stevieb, I have to agree. They need to wrap up some of these storylines. Twins, who's the baby daddy, etc. Summer, Kyle and that whole bunch need to go. Please, Marco!!! Kill them off for us!!!! Finish the job!

I am so confused most of the time. Trying to figure these stories out is useless.
