I can't help you with this matter as

I've only had cats all of my life. I

currently have 5..all rescues.

On the outside chance that nobody answers 

your query I suggest that you start a new

thread with your dog's problem as the topic.

That way more people might see it and

hopefully someone will have the answer

or some advice to give you.
